Overlapping / Continuous Bucket Conveyor / Elevator

The overlapping/pendulum bucket and continuous bucket conveyor are commonly used in the animal feed industry. They allow for conveying of bulk materials in horizontal-vertical-horizontal directions without the need for intermediate transfers.

The overlapping pendulum bucket conveyor consists of a series of buckets attached at either end to a chain or belt. The bucket is allowed to pivot at its attachment point and thus is always facing in one direction (bucket opening up). Allows a very gentle handling of the product being conveyed and the material is moved undisturbed until the discharge point. The buckets overlap without gaps on the horizontal sections to prevent spillage at the feed points. Specific buckets can be discharged at any point desired on the return horizontal section. Multiple feed point(s) to one or multiple discharge points.

The continuous bucket conveyor is similar to the pendulum bucket conveyor except that each bucket is attached to the next bucket by means of a flexible connecting strip. This allow the product to be carried on horizontal and vertical sections but must be discharged immediately on the return portion. Allows for gentle handling of the product being conveyed and the material is moved undisturbed until the discharge point. The interconnected buckets prevent spillage at the feed points. Multiple feed point(s) to one discharge point.
