Agrifeed / Animal Feed Mill Conveyors (Conveyor)

The basic purpose of conveyors in the animal feed industry is to move a product or material from point "A" to point "B". All types of conveyors invented to do this basic task were designed with different design criteria in mind. Speed, volume, material characteristics, material handling, power requirements, distance and elevation all play a part in choosing the right conveyor for the application.

The most common categories of conveyors found in the feedmill industry include belt conveyors, screw conveyors, vibrating conveyors, bucket conveyors, pneumatic conveyors and drag conveyors. A typical feedmill may include some or all of these types of conveyors.
