Simulation Animation
This animation shows a quadrant feeder. The purpose is to singulate logs from a log deck and place them onto a chain. The logs have been animated using a rigid body simulation.
Animations that require realistic collisions with other objects are best animated using a simulation. Very often log handling is an example of this. Objects that will interact with each other are specified as rigid bodies. These rigid bodies react to each other under simulated gravity, friction, collisions, etc.
