PM-A, PM-P and PM-S Personality Modules can be connected to different scanners for specific output format. When a PM-A Module is connected to an MD Scanner one can get the size of a log in an 4-20 mA output format however when connected to an S Scanner one can get the wane percentage in a 4-20 mA output format. PM-S Module connected to a MD Scanner outputs in a serial RS-422 format and a PM-P module connected to a D Scanner will output in an open collector PNP logic format. Output information and different parameters are programmable via a programming cable connected to the RS-232 serial port of a PC (not supplied).
