Round Bottom Conveyors

The principal advantage of round bottom conveyors over other chain conveyors is clean­out. Close tolerance in the con­tour tail and fit of flites in the trough ensures minimal amounts of material remain in the housing between batches. Clean-out of RB conveyors is much greater than screw conveyors, and requires less horse­power. Please note that no type of single-chain conveyor can promise 100% clean-out under all cond­itions, but RB con­veyors are more effective than other single-chain conveyors!

Round Bottom conveyors are designed to operate horizontally or at inclines to 45° (some mater­ials to 60°) with one or two bend sections.
